Holiday in Akumal

Staying a week in an Akumal villa is mandatory! My friends and I yearned to spend our spring vacation at the beach. One of my friends suggested us his holiday house in Akumal to lodge since we haven’t found a hotel to stay in Tulum, which was our first plan.

We didn’t knew what Akumal was, not even where was it, but we all accepted renting his Akumal Villa and made plans to met there, since half of the party came from Venezuela and half from Mexico.

When I got Akumal I couldn’t believe where I was, it was some kind of a fisherman’s village, merged with european-like province with a tad of Hawaiian/Caribbean ambiance.

We saw no big resorts, nor crazy spring breakers; the little town was filled with locals and cordial large tourist families. We loved the area since the moment we got there!

We went towards Akumal Villa’s zone, and we were truly amused by the excellent houses that we saw, but it wasn’t till we arrived to our house that we genuinely started slobbering.

The vacation was our unexcelled favorite; since we had all types of adventures and practiced every water sport type. The night life offered different and amusing activities; from Playa del Carmen’s unusual night clubbing to seaside starry and sandy Akumal friendly bar.
